ME

Hi! I'm Gabrielius (Gab-ree-elis) (He/Him).


I'm a 21 year old Lithuanian living in Ireland, currently in my third year at Dundalk Institute of Technology studying BSc (Hons) Computing in Game Development.


I have made a few games with Roblox Studio, Unity engine, Javascript engine and built my own game engine using MonoGame Pipeline. Check it out here.


I have also participated in Games Fleadh representing DkIT and won "Best User Interface Design" in the competition!


I'm passionate about programming and game development.

I enjoy spending time outdoors with friends and classmates whether it's going for walks, visiting bars or exploring different towns.


I also attend volleyball society trainings twice a week. It's one of my favourite sports and I've been playing for over a year now.




I used to develop games on Roblox which was a great starting point before I eventually moved on to using Unity.


One of my more recent projects has been building my personal website which took time to code and design the way I envisioned it.

XR Software Engineer Intern @ IMR

Mullingar, Ireland | Feb 2026 - May 2026


MY ROLE

- Optimized CAD/BIM data to be viewed on lightweight devices.

- Created photogrammetry/gaussian splat content from drone footage.

- Captured 360 videos/images to create virtual tours.

- Supported Web Development team linking AR/VR prototypes.

- Helped develop AR/VR prototypes in Unity or alternative web technologies.

- Supported other team tasks as required.

BSc (Hons) in Computing in Game Development

Dundalk Institute of Technology | 2023 - Present


On track to graduate with a First Class Honours degree (1.1) with currently an 85.5% GPA.


VOLUNTEERING

- Student Vice Representative from Sept 2024 to Sept 2025. Attended meetings, communicated issues and listened to peer concerns.

- Assisted in DkIT's open days by touring incoming students and providing information about the course.

- Public Relations Officer for ESN DkIT: Supported erasmus students by managing social media, sharing event details and offering help.
